Ahead of Tuesday’s tip-off agains NBA Sweatpants t the Brooklyn Nets, the mission for the New Orleans Pelicans is clear: Win.

Win as many as you can.

“We’ve got to close out these games, these last 15-16 that we’ve got, to try and make a run at the playoffs,” Lonzo Ball said in this morning’s shootaround. “We’ve been pretty much losing close games for the majority of the year, so these last 15, we’ve really got to lock in as whole. And we know that. We went over that today in film. There’s no more time to look at film to try and correct things.”

Before taking full responsibility for the loss in New York and saying that it was one of the dumbest things he’s ever done on a basketball court, Ball stated tonight’s game against Brooklyn would be his last with a minutes restric Anthony Davis tion in place regarding his recent hip injuries.
