The New Orleans Pelicans are developing a distinct habit of playing well in the summer league, and they’ll look to continue their streak of strong performances against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.

Naji Marshall (18 points, 8.0 rebounds NBA Shirts and Sweaters , 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals) and Trey Murphy III (18 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 threes, 1.5 steals) have carried the Pels the most thus far, but they should be tested by Evan Mobley (13 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks) and Isaac Okoro (16 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists) Friday night.

Mobley, the third overall pick in the 2021 draft, and Okoro, the fifth selection from the 2020 edition, are viewed as part of Cleveland’s promising young core, along with Darius Garland and Collin Sexton.

The Cavaliers lost 84-76 to J NBA Shorts alen Green and the Houston Rockets in their SL opener, but beat Jalen Suggs’ Orlando Magic 94-84 a few nights ago.
