At the end of this clinical case study, the reader should be able to implement the latest oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) guidelines. He/she should have clarity on theindications and eligibility criteria for PrEP, the contra-indications,recommended regimen, how to prescribe PrEP including cycling on and off PrEP, which baseline and follow-up investigations should be done, side effect management with thorough understanding of the importance of support of the PrEP user.
